John 3:22 After these things Jesus and His disciples came into the land of Judea, and there He tarried with them…
The life of Jesus was often fast-paced. There were many times that crowds pressed in on him and his disciples. People shouted at him, pulled and him and even tried to accost him.
However, there were also relaxed seasons; times when the pace slowed down and even stopped. Matter of fact, it was in those “tarrying moments” that the disciples learned the most.

Today you may be in one of those “these things” seasons; but “after these things” I encourage you to intentionally plan on having a down time when you just tarry with Jesus. It is in those moments that you are restored and renewed and prepared for the next “these things” season.Matter of fact, I encourage you to find one or two “tarrying” moments everyday when you humbly slow down and admit that the world can make it without you, but you can’t make it without Him.
The “Daniel prayer life” (three times a day) offers a wonderful model for doing this.
Bottom-line, pray brothers, pray!
