I’m a little later than usual posting my blog today. My evening has been taken up with a quick drive to Fort Mill and back here to Greenville. It was just more important to Sonja and me to be in Fort Mill visiting with Bill Sweatt this evening than attending the Campmeeting service. Why? Because this afternoon around 1:30 p.m. his dearly loved wife – Gayle Sweatt – passed away. It was their 48th anniversary.
I will always remember Gayle with deep love in my heart. She was a special lady, full of life and joy. She will be sorely missed and I send my prayers and condolences to her husband and son this evening and remind myself that life is precious and not to be taken for granted.
Rest in peace Gayle, we’ll be seeing you soon, thanks to Jesus our Savior.
