Psalm 119:66 (NKJV) Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I believe Your commandments.
- Lord Jesus: Living Word, teach us this day, teach us good judgment and teach us more about Thee.
- Sometimes I am tempted to fear your methods of teaching for your best lessons are often given in the valleys of life; but I trust you and I know that you love us and are leading us into abundant life everlasting.
- Therefore, whatever this day may bring I pray that you will give us the wisdom to see your hand at work in our lives and the discernment to hear your voice and the faith to believe your commandments and obey.
- I pray that you will give each of us that are preparing to speak on your behalf to your people tomorrow (preachers and teachers) a special touch. Help us to take seriously this solemn responsibility and to prepare ourselves and to be prepared to speak. Help us to be vessels of honor attuned to your will and anointed to teach your word.
- I pray for a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon your people that we may find help and strength in our hour of need and that we may find the strength to go on and the grace to forgive, give and serve.
- Help us oh gracious Savior – we need Thee, oh we need Thee! Amen and thank you.
