Psalm 119:18 (HCSB) Open my eyes so that I may see wonderful things in Your law.
Precious Lord Jesus – the living Word: I pray that you will move upon us and give us a passion and desire to read your word. Cultivate this passion in our lives to the point that we will gladly reduce our commitment to lesser things so that we can have the time to read, study and meditate upon your word. I also pray that you will send a renewal of your baptism of the Holy Spirit so that your word will be “living” in our lives that we may understand it and apply it to our lives.
- Furthermore, I pray that your word will heal us, help us, guide us and change us.
- For this month of June when we honor fathers, I especially pray that we men will renew ou commitment to being men of prayer and reading the word of God; help us to be Men of the Word.
- I ask these things in your strong name, Lord Jesus – amen and thank you.
