Prayer of the Day

Psalm 49:3 (NKJV) My mouth shall speak wisdom, and the meditation of my heart shall give understanding.

  • Father God, I make this confession for my family and church family for two reasons:
  • 1) I am trusting in the anointing that You have placed upon our lives; you called us out of sin and into life for a reason (vocation) and with that calling you have anointed us; for that I give you praise and honor!
  • 2) I am committing us to study your Holy Scripture to show ourselves approved. 
  • Concerning #2 – please prompt our hearts to study and meditate upon your word.  Convict our hearts and help us to discipline ourselves to keep your words in our heart and on our lips; help us to be “people of the Book”.
  • I ask this in the name of the living Word – Jesus Christ, and by the power of the Holy Spirit – who is our Teacher, amen and thank you.
