120519 (Saturday): Precious Holy Spirit, spirit of the living GOD! I praise and honor YOU today. I greet Thee with thanksgiving and gratitude. All praise be unto YOU. Through Jesus Christ who purchased our salvation, I pray that YOU will anoint us to continually offer the sacrifice of praise. In all things and in all ways may we choose to praise Thee. As a little child looks to its mother, may we keep our attention on YOU. I pray that the fruit of our lips and the work of our hands will be “God-centered” and “God-ward.” Free us from self-centeredness and open our closed fists that we may do good and distribute praise and good deeds that men may see and glorify our Father in Heaven.
- For this day…
- I pray specifically for the JOY conference that is beginning in just a few moments. Anoint the leadership and give them peace and capability. Anoint the worship leaders that they may be invisible and YOU visible. Anoint the speakers that the two-edged sword of the Word – our Lord, Jesus Christ – will go forth to heal and help those that hear.
- I also pray for the teachers and worship leaders who will be ministering tomorrow. Keep them pure and focused and especially for the teachers, I pray that the word will come alive in their own hearts and minds so that they can speak from the experiences of the heart and not just the logic of the head.
- I lift up the hurting and needy, the weary and worn and the tried and true. Keep us in your care – we look to you.
- I ask this on behalf of my dearly loved family and church family and all those that call upon your NAME – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- With all my heart, in Jesus’ name, amen and thank you.
