Walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself for us, an offering and sacrifice to God. (Ephesians 5:2)
120517 (Thursday): Father God, I come to you in the name of Jesus and through the strength of the Holy Spirit. I offer up praise to YOU this day and declare that YOU (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) are great and greatly to be praised! I thank you for your great love and sacrifice on our behalf. I thank you that we can trust you in all things and we can have the peace of knowing that in every situation you are working things together for our good.
- Therefore I pray that you will help us also to walk in love and humility. Help us to do what we do today as unto you. May we be a living sacrifice bringing hope and help to those we meet and bringing glory and honor to YOU.
- I pray for the wisdom and patience to do this, and I pray for the strength to endure. Help us to finish well today.
- I lift up the hurting and wounded. Bring healing to them, I pray. Guide us and keep us and restore unto us the joy of your salvation.
- If this should be the day that you return or call us home to Thee I pray that you will find us about “your business” in whatever we are doing.
- I ask these things for myself, my dearly loved family and church family and for all those that call upon you name throughout the world (“Our Father”), in Jesus’ name, amen and thank you.
