Today’s ONE THING…

What makes us different from than animals?  One of the main ways is what today’s ONE THING is: “Look for the sacred”.

It is amazing to me how little most people are truly intentional about looking for the sacred.  However, it we allow the mad dash of life to reduce everything down to getting from point A to point B and working through our “To do” list we are poorer for it.

You were meant for so much more than being reduced to a “flesh machine”.  Be intentional today in looking for the sacred.  Breathe deeply, savor life – all life; and do not allow the steel and glass of civilization to block out the handiwork of your Creator.  Whatever you do, do not allow the clutter and clatter of life to drown out the voice of your Maker.  Your heart longs for Him and can only truly be satisfied in Him.  He is calling for you…
