120430: Gracious Holy Spirit of the living God! I thank you for your life-giving presence and power in our lives. I pray that you will hover over us (Genesis 1:2) with your creative power and bring order and life to our day and week.
- Furthermore, I pray that you will be the Helper that our Lord promised. Help us to know Jesus better and to allow Him to be the gate-keeper in our lives. Show us those things that compete with our Lord Jesus. Help us to travel light this week; seeking above all to please Him.
- I pray that you will impart to us the wisdom and strength that we need for this week. Give us favor, give us direction and may the fruit of your presence flourish in our lives, homes, schools, and work stations (Galatians 5:22-23).
- And finally help us to please our Father in Heaven from whom life and all blessings flow.
- In Your strength I pray these things in Jesus’ name for the glory of the Father, Amen and thank you.
