120423 (Monday): Great and almighty God – light of the world and light in our little corner of the world; thank you for being mindful of us; your mercy and tender care are so deeply appreciated. As I pause this early afternoon, I am mindful of my dearly loved family and church family and many friends that are busy about life. Please prompt our hearts and help us not to be like the dumb beasts that blindly feed upon your providentially provided substance and know not to look up to Thee. As the gentle breeze cools a fevered brow, come Holy Spirit and blow across our souls and remind us to look up to Thee with grateful hearts.
- I pray that you give us strength to reflect your light wherever we are for the rest of this; please give us traveling mercy on the way home and the grace to bring joy and light into our homes no matter the problems that we may have faced this day.
