100730: Home at last!

Well after what seems a lifetime, Sonja and I have finally arrived back home.  We arrived around 5:00 p.m. and soon met with Lee and Jennifer (had to see my grandson) for dinner then we came back to unpack and get ready for life in the real world.

Not only did I miss Lee, Jennifer and David Lee, but I also missed "the Kid" (Briana). This is her in 1988.

I thank each of you that kept us in your thoughts and prayers.  God was faithful and brought us home.  I’m weary to the bone but thankful to have had the privilege of representing my dearly loved FMCOG church family; and I’m glad that we are a part of a world-wide family of fellow believers.

  1. Hi Pastor and Sonja….Praise the Lord you both got home safe and sound. It’s always good to be home. You have come back home and we are leaving tomorrow after Sunday School to go on vacation to Lake Lure, NC with our timeshare. Looking forward to relaxing with my best buddy.
    Love the picture of the kid (Brianna). She was adorable and still is….Love to you both….your Romans who are roaming again.
