A brief “Hello”

Hello my dear PEPpers and far-flung family and friends!

It has been extremely busy the last few days.  Sonja and I are at our bi-annual General Assembly, our denomination’s convention.  We have been going from sun up to sun down and I’ve had very little time to do anything but make it from one meeting to another.

However, I did want to take a moment this evening just to send my love and prayers to you.  During this evening’s session my mind drifted to Fort Mill and I realized that it had been several days since I expressed my love to you.  Life is to short and to uncertain to go even a day without expressing our love to those we really care about – and I truly care for you.  So as shepherd/pastor to the most loving and dearly loved congregation in all the world I send my love, prayers and best wishes.  My thoughts are toward you this evening.

Upon the reading of this short missive, may it find you safely in the care of the One who died that you may live, was broken that you could be whole and was raised so that you could rise also.

Be of good courage!
