With all the traveling I’m doing lately I’ve been thinking about homesickness. Why is it that we get homesick? I believe it is because God created us for a time and a place. There is a place where we are supposed to be. There is something that we are supposed to be doing. There are fellow humans that were are supposed to be interacting with. This is how God created us.
We are not random accidents of mindless nature and evolution / we are created in God’s image and ultimately our destination is supposed to be with Him. You do have a “place” and you do have a “purpose.” Bottom line you matter.
In the meantime, I’m really missing my family.
