100427: Rain is good…

Wow, hasn’t it rained today!

It seems that I’ve been dodging raindrops all day but when I came home this evening and looked at our yard looking clean and fresh and the flowers blooming (thanks to Sonja’s hard work) and thought to myself, “Rain is good!”  And thank God we can take a breath outside without choking on pollen.

As far as this day, it’s been a good day.  I had excellent meetings with staff, enjoyed a good lunch at the new restaurant on Main Street – good food.

I wish there was more / but today has been pretty routine / which is good!

Stay dry everybody and have a great evening…I’m going to spend a little while this evening trying to learn how to use the I-pad the Student Ministries gave me Sunday / wish me luck!

A rainy day in Quito Ecuador \ November 2005

P.S. Sonja and I were talking about the weather today / if you’re interested, today was a lot how Quito Ecuador is everyday.

 P.S.S. Quotation of the day…

“Organizations do not change significantly unless someone inside the organizations changes significantly.” _Robert E. Quinn, Building the Bridge as You Walk On It, p. 200

This is true whether it is at home, work, school or anywhere that you may be.  By the way,

I’ve learned that it is a whole easier for me to change significantly than to wait on someone else to do so (and fuss about it while I’m waiting!)

So there you have it – a little preaching just for good measure.  It’s sort of like nagging \ you wouldn’t think I loved you if I didn’t preach at you a bit would you! 🙂
