My second childhood came sooner than I thought!

It is amazing how Sonja and my lives have changed.  We were in the market for a high chair for David Lee and Sonja had found a lady that was willing to sell us one for a good price.  So, yesterday I found myself wandering around in south Charlotte trying to find the address.  Thankfully we achieved our mission and are now the proud owners of a very nice – slightly used – high chair.

I remembered thinking as I looked in the rear view mirror as we were driving down the road, “Who would have ever thought that I’d be back in the baby tools/furniture business!”   Here I am 53 years old and I now own a high chair, a baby walker, baby swing, bottles, blankets, teddy bears, diapers, and a half-dozen other things that a little boy might need.

One thing I’ve learned through all this – you’ve got to stay flexible; which is a good lesson for all of us.

Enjoying my second chance,
