Monday evening…

Hello everyone!

It’s been a fast-paced life lately.  I can’t believe I’ve let this many days go by without an entry, but here goes…

It’s Monday evening and all is well.  I was truly blessed with yesterday’s services – everything was great.  I especially enjoyed and was blessed by the Sounds of Praise new song – “He Made the Difference!” (A song with an attitude!), Pansy Blackwell’s communion song and then Cory Hefner blew me away with his song in the evening service.  Dr. Crick really, really blessed and challenged me in the evening service.  I have been thinking about his challenge for much of the day.   Sometimes we need someone to remind us of why we do what we do.  He did a good job of that last night.

Today has been a good day.  I worked all day on administrative matters and then met my son and daughter-in-law (and grandson!) for dinner.  Sonja volunteered at Vacation Bible School (God love her!).  Following dinner I stopped by the Fort Mill Complex and watched our men’s softball team play.  They did an o060400 Michigan Trip - Spencer - 2utstanding job!  In addition to winning (always more fun), they played incredible defense (two double plays!) and demonstrated excellent sportsmanship.  I was never more proud of them.

Well that about sums up my day.

The picture I’ve added tonight is my grand-nephew, Spencer Anderson.  To me his expression epitomizes happiness!

May you find sunshine, happiness and peace,

dlkemp
