I wanted to write this yesterday (Thursday, July 9th) but my schedule was just to full; but one year ago yesterday was Pastor Jonathan’s first day at FMCOG. It was a Wednesday and I brought Pastor J in to meet the Council and the Sounds of Praise. I’ll never forget how well he conducted himself and I’ll never forget how well the Council and Sounds of Praise conducted themselves as well. It was a turning point in our church. From that night forward we’ve not looked back.
Personally, I’ll forever be indebted to the Holy Spirit for leading me to Pastor Jonathan – I truly believe God’s will was done; and I’ll forever be appreciative to the wonderful people of the FMCOG for trusting me and opening their hearts to Jonathan Sawyer.
It’s been a great year and I feel that the best is yet to come! Hat’s off and a big cheer for Jonathan Sawyer!
