In years gone by, I remember dreading the last service of Campmeeting. I’d hang around talking with people until almost everyone was gone on that last service and then I’d leave feeling sad; but not anymore. I enjoy seeing my friends and I enjoy worshipping with people from all over our state, but none of that compares with being with my dear FMCOG family and worshipping right here at the great Fort Mill Church of God.
Sonja and I drove in yesterday afternoon and as we drove in to Fort Mill and saw our church – especially the new Center for Discipleship – I felt a sense of joy and thankfulness at being home and for being able to be a part of a wonderful group of people that truly love Christ and are passionate about his Church and about his Great Commission. I don’t know if I’ve told you lately – but I love you and I am proud of you.
On a personal note, still no appearance of David Lee! June 27th is the actual due date, so now we’re no longer counting the days, we’re counting hours! I’ll keep you posted.
Also, right now we’re in our 48 hours prayer initiative for Friend Day. Please keep this in mind through the next two days. Please join with me in a continual state of prayer – asking God to allow the Gospel to go forth, not in words only, but in power, anointing and in much assurance.
Well, I’d better get back to work. Blessings everyone!
